Empowering communities to solve their own problems
Tiwasunge Community Support Organisation (TICOSO) is a local, non-profit Malawian NGO complementing the Government of Malawi's development goals on poverty eradication, with a special focus on women and children.
Rooted in the community since 2006
Tiwasunge began in October 2006 as a community-based organisation. In December 2015 it was formally registered as The Registered Trustees of TICOSO under the Trustees Incorporation Act (5:03) of the Laws of Malawi, and is registered with the NGO Regulatory Authority (NGORA).
We are an active member of the District Executive Committee (DEC) of Chiradzulu Council, and currently operate in Traditional Authorities Likoswe and Mpunga, with plans to extend across the district and beyond as resources allow.
